Obituary for Clive Arthur Thompson

Clive Arthur Thompson passed suddenly at his home in Ajax at the age of 68.

He is survived by his spouse Genevieve and friend Tom, beloved daughter Sarah and partner Alex, his son Christopher and partner Marcia with two children Hamza and Sajda, his older brother Gary and nieces Lisa and Louise, Uncle Ken and daughter Christine. Clive was born in Stourbridge England and served eight years in the British Royal Navy.

After immigrating to Canada and beginning his loving family, he founded several companies following his true passion and found success with Hyrdobotics Engineering. He was passionate about fishing, outdoors, snooker and hockey. He loved music and expressed his great talents through woodworking and computer graphics imaging.

He dearly loved his animal friends. At the end of life we can all say as he said with a salute “be seeing you”. Memorial donations can be made below to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada

Let Me Go
When I come to the end of the road
And the sun has set for me
I want no rites in a gloom filled room
Why cry for a soul set free?

Miss me a little, but not for long
And not with your head bowed low
Remember the love that once we shared
Miss me, but let me go.

For this is a journey we all must take
And each must go alone.
It's all part of the master plan
A step on the road to home.

When you are lonely and sick at heart
Go to the friends we know.
Laugh at all the things we used to do
Miss me, but let me go.
