Obituary for Kenneth Mitra Pariag

Today, we honour and celebrate the life of our dearly beloved Kenneth (Kenny) Mitra Pariag.

He was the son of Margaret and Kenneth Sr. Pariag and a brother to Neil, Walter, Chandra, Bobby, Joan, Victor, Stanley, and Joel. Additionally, he had numerous sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews, and an extensive network of extended family.

Kenny was born on December 27th, 1942, in Victoria Village, San Fernando, Trinidad. He later migrated to New York, USA, where he pursued studies in computer technology. After six years, he returned to Trinidad briefly before making his home in Toronto, Canada, in 1970.

He had a passion and talent for cricket and soccer, excelling as an all-rounder and goalkeeper. In his spare time, he enjoyed spending the day fishing. Kenny demonstrated exceptional work ethics, dedicating 29 years to the same company before retiring.

Kenny is survived by his wife, Ann Eldemire, his only son, Ken Pariag Jr., daughter-in-law Jessica Pariag, grandchildren Kiara Pariag and Tyler Pariag, stepchildren David Eldemire and Vanessa Eldemire, as well as his sisters Joan Best and Chandra Jaggernauth, and brothers Joel and Stanley Pariag.

Kenny will be deeply missed by all who knew him, and he will be remembered as a kind, gentle, and loving soul. May he rest in eternal peace.
