Obituary for Naresh Chandra Saksena

Naresh Chandra Saksena, passed away on 23 July 2020 at the centenary hospital. Naresh was married to Usha for 49 years and has a beautiful family with a daughter, son, grandchildren. His children are both married to individuals who became dearer to Naresh more than his own son and daughter. In his last few years Naresh was fortunate to live with his children sharing their lives with joy and care. He was a very simple, unassuming person who believed in living and to let live. He nurtured Usha's passion for music and his children's interest. He was not very expressive but valued and cherished the people around him. Names of his friends, family and neighbors would bring tears in his eyes as he was very emotionally attached to those people even though he would rarely say it out loud.
As a self made person, he believed in hard work, straightforward, honest approach and never judged people by their material possessions nor did he aspire for much. He learnt guitar, practiced astrology, vedic values, keen interest in homeopathy with strong interest in politics and world affairs. He came from very humble origins, made his way to the bigger cities, educated himself with double Masters, with a second degree much later in his career from Norwich, UK on a full merit scholarship. His legacy, memories and values will be carried in our hearts as we bid him goodbye to have a restful and peaceful journey from here on.
