Con tristeza en el corazón, pero con gran sentimiento de paz, la familia Olea anuncia la partida de Nelson Augusto, amado padre y esposo.
Desde septiembre pasado Nelson estuvo batallando por recuperarse de un derrame cerebral pero lamentablemente, después de unas complicaciones, Nelson falleció el viernes 18 de diciembre a las 9:37am (EST) en paz en el hospital al lado de su esposa e hijo.
Queremos celebrar la vida de Nelson al recordar su carácter alegre, su personalidad y sobre todo el impacto que produjo en nuestras vidas.
Nelson deja a su amada esposa, Flor Myriam y a sus hijos, Andréi Augusto, Lina Marcela, Juan Sebastián y Daniel Julián. También deja sus hermanas Flor Alba, Nidia y Sandra, sus sobrinas Natalie y Angie y sus nietos Emilio y Martin.
La personalidad de Nelson alegraba a todo aquel con quien compartía. Fue un fiel amigo y un incansable trabajador. Sus compañeros lo reconocían como alguien dedicado y perseverante. Nelson aceptó a Jesús como su Señor y Salvador de su vida y desde ese momento se interesó en estudiar teología y compartir el evangelio de nuestro Señor Jesucristo.

Ser humano único que nos tocó con su magia y dejó una huella imborrable en nuestras vidas + gran ejemplo de libertad y perseverancia + hombre irrepetible, siempre con un punto de vista diferente pero muy acertado + extrañaremos su humor negro e inteligente + líder honesto y fiel a sus creencias + ahora una nueva estrella en el cielo

Debido a la actual situación en la que nos encontramos por la pandemia y las restricciones, estamos organizando la celebración de un servicio en línea para el Domingo 27 de diciembre a las 4pm. En esta página publicaremos el enlace próximamente.
Hemos creado esta página para compartir fotos, historias y buenos recuerdos de nuestro querido Nelson.

With a heavy heart, the Olea family says goodbye to Nelson Olea, beloved father and devoted husband. Since September, he has been fighting to get better from a brain bleed but unfortunately after a few complications, Nelson passed away on Friday 18 December at 9:37am (EST) peacefully next to his wife and son. Nelson was born in Bogota, Colombia but has been in living in Toronto since 2001.
We want to remember Nelson’s and celebrate his life, his joyful spirit, kindness and character.
Nelson will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Flor Myriam and his children, Andrei Augusto, Lina Marcela, Juan Sebastian and Daniel Julian. Nelson will also be fondly remembered by his sisters, Flor Alba, Nidia and Sandra, his nieces, Natalie and Angie and his grandchildren, Emilio y Martin Olea
Nelson’s charm and charisma would light up every room he entered. He was dearly loved at work, where he was recognised for his hard work and determination.
In his later years he committed to teaching the word of God and guiding people on their spiritual journey in Christ. He will be dearly missed, forever loved and appreciated.

Unique individual whose magic touch leaves a permanent mark in our lives + great example of freedom and perseverance + a man like no other, always with a different but very well made point of view + we’ll miss his dark and intelligent dark humour + honest and truthful leader and devout to his beliefs + now a new star in the sky
