Obituary for Nigel Vinoo Maharaj
Nigel Vinoo Maharaj
March 27, 1976 – January 30, 2022
With great sorrow and extreme sadness, we announce the passing of Nigel Vinoo Maharaj, at the age of 45.
Nigel left us on January 30, 2022 at 8:01pm. He is now reunited with his father, Raymond Maharaj Sr. Nigel leaves behind his mother, Sandra Ahmena Dols Maharaj, and brothers Raymond Jr, Shami, and Neil.
At his bedside throughout was his loving wife Samantha Maharaj and his daughter Mekayla Meera Sheth-Maharaj, with his son Ashton Nigel Maharaj nearby with his infectious positive spirit. Nigel was also step-dad to Candace Lashley, and step-grand to her son, Elijah.
Nigel was an affectionate and attentive uncle to his 43 nieces and nephews, they will greatly miss his popsicles and fun antics.
Amongst his deep extended family of love are in-laws Sischa, Suzette, Jacklyn, Paul, Anastasia, Leet, Leon, Becky, Ozzy, Malanie, Mala, and the late Tony, Bill, Rosanne, and Nobby.
He will be greatly missed by many aunts, uncles, and cousins across Canada, Trinidad, and America.
