Foster, Preston Arnold, Cyril
July 8th 1942- December 5th 2019

Preston Foster passed away after fighting a long three year journey to the end, peacefully at the age of 77 at Oshawa Lakeridge Hospital, surrounded by his entire family. He was born in Trinidad & Tobago, to his deceased mother Beryl Foster. Preston was the honoured and beloved husband to Dawn Foster, married for 53 years. Together in their marriage , they had three children, Mickel , Ebony & Tanya. Preston was a devoted grandfather to four grandchildren, Tafari, Aishalah , Isaiah & Tyrique. He was survived by five sisters, Marcelin, June, Dawn (Pinks), Dale (Sadie) & Alison. Preston had a vast life enriched with the essence of life and the fundamentals of living. He enjoyed the intricate details of mechanics and was a lover of Cadillac’s. He lived in Boston, New York and Canada as his last place of residence and becoming a snow bird back to his originating place of birth after retiring from Local 46 in 2003, working as a world renowned Welder on international pipelines covering the North American continent and expanding to Iraq and contributing to the many oil fields. Preston lived a balance life, and at the end of his journey three years prior to his death, he achieved the peace in which we all strive to achieve. He is at rest now, may his legacy live on through the foundation he has built for many generations to come.
