Obituary for Serojanie Devi Singh (Brijbassi)
Serojanie Devi Singh, age 61 passed peacefully with her loved ones close by on April 22nd 2022 at Lakeridge
Health Ajax Hospital.
Serojanie Singh, affectionately known as Seroj or Rose, was born on November 11th 1960 in 64 Village Corentyne Berbice, Guyana. Seroj was part of a large family, she had 5 siblings, 5 nieces and 4 nephews whom she loved dearly. Seroj married her loving husband, Robby Singh, on July 28th 1985.
She is survived by her husband of almost 37 years and 2 loving children. Seroj was a beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. She will be sorely missed and will be remembered for her generous heart, caring nature, positive attitude, strength and courage.
Seroj was diagnosed with stage 3 pancreatic cancer July 2020. She was met with a lovely team and treated at the Wallace McCain Centre for Pancreatic Cancer. Her positive attitude, strength and courage allowed her to fight for over 20 months through chemotherapy and radiation treatments.
