We mourn the loss of our beloved Markandu Subramaniam Ampalavany, of Delft, who passed shortly after midnight on January 25th, 2022 with his daughters Sathiyabhama and Sathiyapooma by his side. Markandu was born on October 26th, 1932 in Delft, Sri Lanka and was the beloved son and youngest child of Subramaniam Ampalavany and Nagamuthu Subramaniam. He was the son-in-law of Muthupillai and Chinniah. He was father to Sathiyabhama and Sathiyapooma, father-in-law to Raghunath and Manoharan and grandfather to Shriman, Abirami, and Vaishalei, who all will miss him greatly. His love for his family and friends and enthusiasm for life will be deeply remembered. His funeral will be held at the Ajax Crematorium and Visitation Centre on Thursday January 27th, 2022. The viewing will take place at 2:30 - 4:30 p.m. and the cremation will be held at 5:30 p.m. at the same venue.
