Obituary for Tulsidai Mangaru
Tulsidai Mangaru also known as “Rupan” passed away at Sunnybrook Hospital on December 27th, 2020 at 8:40am in Scarborough, Ontario at the age of 72.
Tulsidai is survived by her relatives, Amo, Alan, Oril, Kamla, Roy, Lalta, Netty, Dowlo, and Ganesh. She is preceded in death by relatives Kishore and Sanko.
Tulsidai Mangaru was born on January 28th, 1948 in Windsor Forest (3rd Street), West Coast Demerara, Guyana to the late Mangaru (“Gandwa”) and Munia (“Rosie”) Mangaru. She attended Windsor Forest Government school and worked in a garment factory in Georgetown, Guyana. After immigrating to Toronto, Canada in 1976, she also worked with a company specializing in cosmetic products.
A funeral service is scheduled for December 29th, 2020 from 12:00pm to 2:00pm (EST) at Ajax Crematorium & Visitation Centre with the cremation following shortly after. Pandit Amar Umadas will officiate the ceremony.
